Broken flasks, bottles, pipets etc. Should be placed in a strong box. When the box is full, close it, seal it with strapping or duct or other strong tape. Mark the outside of the box as broken glassware, and put the sealed box in the dumpster.
If the glass is contaminated with materials that would normally be disposed by EHS, place it in a small box, then put it in the laboratory waste or CMC boxes (depending on the contamination). Note that we almost never generate CMC waste, and will rarely if ever have CMC boxes in the lab.
